Kyoto Animation Studio, known for works such as Kanon(2006), Clannad, or Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, has opened Kyoto Animation Awards. They are giving chance to people to compete in the novel, manga, and scenario categories, and the winners in each category will be rewarded a grand prize of 300,000 yen, and honorable prizes of 100,000 yen. Furthermore, popular creations may even be animated by Kyoto Animation and made into anime.
The entries will be judged by Kyoto Animation staff, who will choose the winners. There are no category age or genre limitations, anything goes. And the deadline is January 15.
